Green Rose was established in 2021 and is a vertically integrated cannabis company with dispensary, craft grower, transportation and infuser licenses.
Wake Up and smell the Roses! Come, dive into a great opportunity with Green Rose in our new dispensary while filling the top position! The dispensary managers will have the autonomy to make decisions about and will be responsible for all day-to-day operations at the dispensary.
All dispensary managers will need to possess the ability to lead other managers within the company, must show exceptional capability, and a track-record of profitability, know-how, and knowledge while in prior management positions. The General Manager/Agent-in-Charge (GM/AIC) is the overall operational expert for the site/store they are assigned, and with that are the last line of leadership within the store. The GM will be the individual responsible for communicating with the State/Corporate level leadership and ensuring the vision from the top – are the practices being followed at that location. These candidates must be willing to adapt, overcome, mold, change and support their teams/staff and must have a proven track record of teamwork, selflessness, positivity, and an exceptionally high knowledge of the laws, processes, with the ability to gain more insight and knowledge regarding regulation, amendments to laws and scaled operations. This leadership role will be expected to closely monitor customer service – our customers are always priority - and to enhance all customer experiences while promoting a positive work environment focused on growth and development. Through your management leadership, product knowledge, market knowledge, sales experience, and coaching guidance, you must display the ability to multi-task at a self-motivated/company driven pace, with the ability to produce without being micromanaged.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Contribute to and assist in developing, implementing, and executing standard operational procedures/policies, operational rules, compliance, regulatory requirements / amendments
Lead by example while advancing the Green Rose mission, strategy, growth and executing all tactical and strategic objectives
Manage and supervise all staff daily to ensure assignments/activities are carried forth
Make recommendations and work directly with HR hiring managers to ensure hiring, discipline, termination of employment and advancement opportunities of employees are being met; oversee monthly/quarterly evaluations
Manage/Oversee/lead execution in all quality of product, product inventory and daily audits
Work hand in hand with Green Rose’s Marketing Manager to ensure product movement, promotions and reporting to ensure daily goals/objectives and numbers are being met
Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are being adhered to
Supervise all cash handling procedures and reporting
Manage and motivate all internal and external staff to always extend the highest levels of customer service and respect
Create and provide pathways for all staff to receive education and development about various products, mechanisms, and consumption
Work directly with the Green Rose leadership team to create budget and forecast sales
Lead staff to exceed all goals and objectives
Work with wholesalers
Liaise with local community while working directly with the Community Relations Manager to ensure all dispensary and community needs are met
Stay ahead of all product development and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all products in store as well as industry – not just their own individual store, but all the stores within our company – willingness to cross-train, cross-travel is expected as part of this role.
Other duties as assigned
5-7+ years of experience in a management environment
2+ years of cannabis retail experience required

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related experience
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be 21 years of age
Must possess a valid license or state ID
Must remain compliant with all city and state regulations and requirements for working in the industry
Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time
Willingness to be flexible – Travel is at times necessary; therefore, travel is required for retail management
